Biography
Dr. Roesijadi is recognized for his contributions in the physiological and cellular basis of organismal-environmental interactions focusing on trace element metabolism. He joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2005 to provide leadership in the expansion of marine biotechnology. Before joining PNNL, he was Professor and Chair of Biological Sciences at Florida Atlantic University. He remains on its faculty as Research Professor. During the course of his career, he also held professorships at the University of Maryland, The Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Zürich. He started his scientific career as Research Scientist at PNNL.
